Li Song, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Image Communication and Network Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Double-Appointed Professor of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and the Collaborative Innovation Center of Future Media Network, the Deputy Secretary-General of the China Video User Experience Alliance and head of the standards group.

His research interests are media intelligent signal processing, media communication and computing system. He has presided over more than 10 national research projects, published more than 200 academic papers, authorized 40 invention patents and 5 software copyrights. He received the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress (2015), the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress (2011), the First Prize of Shanghai Technical Invention (2011), the Research Award of Japan Okawa Foundation (2013), the Outstanding Paper Award of International Conference (VCIP2016, WCSP2010), the International Competition Award (ICME 2017, 2020), the Most Valuable Expert of TVP Tencent Cloud ( 2019, 2020).

He is an invited editorial board member of IEEE Trans on Broadcasting, editorial board member of Springer Multidimensional Systems and Signal Processing, senior member of IEEE, chairman of LiveVideoStackCon(2019,2020) Shanghai Summit, a senior member of IEEE. He is also the technical advisor of China Smart Home Industry Alliance, China Ultra HD Industry Alliance, Shanghai Ultra HD Industry Alliance, Shanghai Internet of Things Association, Shanghai Information Appliance Association, and creator of the famous Wechat public account “Media Mine Factory” in the field.
