Shanghai World Expo and queuing service system

Abstract

This paper introduces the queuing problem happened in Shanghai World Expo in 2010. Some new complex factors have added in this network queuing system, some advanced information techniques also had been applied in order to control the queuing service. We will discuss this queuing problem in three aspects: physical, psychological and social. This research is supported by 973 Research program “Studies on the perception and law of social collective behaviors under the hybrid information network” sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
